Jodi Dezelan Perdue received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati, a program consistently ranked number one in the country. While pursuing her degree, Jodi had the opportunity to work for design firms throughout the country including Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis and Tampa.
Upon graduation, Jodi moved to Dallas to begin a career in retail interior design. Her early career focused on high-end department stores including Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, David Jones (Australia) & Liverpool Department Stores (Mexico). Through this work, Ms. Perdue developed an affinity for restaurant design. In 2003, Ms. Perdue joined the Neiman Marcus Corporate Visual team. Here she was given the opportunity to collaborate on in-house restaurants in Dallas, Chicago, Scottsdale, Fort Lauderdale and Houston, while also working on window displays, vendor events and seasonal collateral. In addition, Jodi was able to express her graphic skills, illustrating the visual team's design concepts to communicate with store visual teams nationwide.
After relocating to Southern California in early 2000, Ms. Perdue had the opportunity to collaborate with the Michelin-rated Chef, Fabio Flagiello on his self-named restaurant on Abbot-Kinney in Venice Beach. In 2006, the pair collaborated again to design “Risibisi”, an upscale Italian restaurant in historic Petaluma, California. The space was infused with vintage and artisan elements scoured from salvage yards and art galleries alike. Following the success of "Fabio" and "Risibisi", Jodi was commissioned to design “Pastavino”, an organic Italian restaurant and wine bar on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado.
In 2013, Jodi decided to focus her career on high-end residential design with the goal of offering her varied expertise to a select few clients. Ms. Perdue currently resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband and two children.
